About this course
I've been sketching from life for as long as I can remember, whether en plein air or just in my studio. Working from life opens up many more possibilities than working from a photo, enabling you to record your impressions of found objects or scenes on the go.
The Introductory lesson takes you through the materials list in detail.
All the lessons have step-by-step instructions and clear videos.
The 12 detailed lessons will take you through a range of drawing and sketching tools and techniques to get you set up with a portable travel kit and learn to use it to sketch found objects, buildings or scenes you encounter. Suitable whether travelling or at home.
This course is intended to get you out sketching en plein air, wherever your travels may take you.
