Kelly A Clancy

As an Occupational Therapist, Certified Hand therapist, Structural Medicine Specialist, and Bowenwork Practitioner, Kelly uses her skills as a manual therapist and ergonomist to address the postural components that can contribute to pain and dysfunction. Along with treating the structural issues that may be present, Kelly also assesses ergonomics, stress and nutritional factors, and their impact on the body’s regulatory systems. She founded the Seattle Center for Structural Medicine, which houses multi-disciplinary holistic practitioners who practice whole mind/body strategies to rehabilitate their clients back to optimal health. She is also the founder of the Northwest School of Structural Therapy and has developed the Tensegrity Medicine™ methodology. She teaches nationally and internationally lecturing on topics related to Tensegrity, fascia and therapeutic assessment and treatment strategies.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This three part webinar series consists of practical skills and training related to cutting edge practices in the field of mind body medicine. Each webinar offers concepts related to incorporating higher level ADL’s and mind body practices into clinical OT practice. Discussion will also emphasize self care practices for the OT and ways to enrich resilience, avoid burnout and teach others how to have a greater awareness of these lifestyle concepts. This course will be recorded and students will receive continued access to these courses for review.
