Anniken Allis

Anniken is an experienced knitting pattern designer and teacher. She has been designing knitting patterns and teaching workshops around the UK since 2007. Her patterns have been published in British and American knitting and crochet magazines and she has designed for several yarn companies, contributed to several book and written two books, Easy Lace Knits and Beaded Lace Knitting. New To Knitting Socks?

Experienced Sock Knitter But Want To Learn New Techniques?


The Aventuras Socks online course is now called Successful Socks. Over the summer 2022, I will update the course with more lessons on how to knit socks from the cuff down or toe up with a standard heel flap as well as how to achieve perfect fit. As an existing student, you will get the new lessons when they become available and you will of course still be able to access the existing content

When the new content is available the price will increase but existing and new students (until I increase the price) will get all the existing as well as new content when it becomes available.

Aventuras (Spanish for adventure) is a choose your own adventure sock pattern. 

Choose from 16 different combinations:

  •  toe up
  •  cuff down 
  • two different toes 
  • two different afterthought heels
  • two different stitch patterns 

In this course I take you step by step through the complete Aventuras sock pattern with videos on knitting in the round using magic loop, how to knit the socks toe up or cuff down, how to knit the choice of two afterthought heels and two toes as well as how to knit the two stitch patterns.

The course consists of video lessons which you can watch in your own time and at your own pace.

The Aventuras sock pattern is included.
