About this course

Are you ready to ruin some art? When I have "ruined" my journal or even wood painting is most likely when I like it the best. You might think ruining is easy or hard. And the answer is yes. We will ruin and revive. Taking it too far. Then bringing it back. Soulful art lies in the struggle and beauty among the ashes.

So why don't I help you foster the ruining. Foster the "mistakes". Because magic lies in the process, mistakes, ruining, and growing. 

So where do we start in the journal process? We will create our own journals using a simple stitch method. No measuring involved.

I'll give you prompts and ways to begin your journal. I'll show you the tactile process that includes all my secrets and fun tools for scraping and fostering mistakes.

FAQ: 

Is this class beginner friendly ?   This class is for all levels.  My advice if you've never painted faces is to start with  Draw and Paint a Girl  and/or Paint Like a Child journal  before this class. (or at least one of my faces classes)

How long will I have access to the course? Lifetime access. 

Do I need all the supplies on the supply list? No, I am all about using what you have on hand.

Will there be a Facebook group? No sorry. we will share in the classroom and through instagram.


SUPPLY list will be emailed to you upon signup. Using what you have on hand is strongly encouraged. This class is not about having the right or exact products but is all about the process of layering. The most important supplies will be a journal, black china marker, quin. nickel azo gold paint, catalyst no. 6 wedge.
