In Course 2: Treatment Strategies and Sustainable Recovery for Substance Use Disorders, you will learn how to select and utilize evidence-based and recommended treatment strategies for client’s diagnosed with a substance use disorder (SUD). Students will also learn how to identify common co-occurring mental health disorders, create recurrence prevention plans, develop sustainable recovery strategies, and gain a better understanding of the difference between abstinence vs. harm reduction models. Our courses are laid out systematically, with each module building on the next.
