About this course

In Course 2: Treatment Strategies and Sustainable Recovery for Substance Use Disorders, you will learn how to select and utilize evidence-based and recommended treatment strategies for client’s diagnosed with a substance use disorder (SUD). Students will also learn how to identify common co-occurring mental health disorders, create recurrence prevention plans, develop sustainable recovery strategies, and gain a better understanding of the difference between abstinence vs. harm reduction models. Our courses are laid out systematically, with each module building on the next. Plus you can test your knowledge by taking our quizzes, connect with other students in the course, and have ready to use downloads and tools to get started!
