Join us for the Virtual Mindfulness Retreat!
Successful teachers and parents are mindful teachers and parents. They are aware of themselves and attuned to children's needs. Mindful teaching and parenting nurture the environment in which children flourish academically, emotionally and socially - and adults thrive professionally and personally.
Mindfulness is a conscious, purposeful way of turning in to what's happening in and around us. This specific approach to paying attention and cultivating awareness improves mental focus and academic performance. Mindfulness also strengthens mental skills that contribute to emotional balance. The best of our human qualities, including the capacity for kindness, empathy, and compassion, support and are supported by mindfulness.
In this Virtual Mindfulness Retreat, we'll explore two main themes. The first, inviting you to directly experience and explore mindfulness. The second, providing you with activities to develop mindfulness in children.
You will be able to use mindfulness activities that you've learned during the retreat, in school, at home, in your kids' yoga classes, extra-curricular activities, camps or in any other work with children.
This Virtual Mindfulness Retreat is one of the modules in the Yoga Beak for Children 95-hr Online Teacher Training. We wanted to share it with you. You will have a chance to look at our online platform, meet current training participants and experience our friendly and supportive community of like-minded Children's Yoga Teachers.
At the end of the retreat, there will be a Q&A for the Children's Yoga Teacher Training where you can ask any questions about the training.
After taking Yoga Break for Children Virtual Mindfulness Retreat you will have forever access to the retreat's recordings and materials.
