About this course

When using the term "stress", patients often think the term is generic, until you explain the neurochemistry and endocrinology of stress.  Having clinical tools to support stressed individuals is essential to getting positive outcomes for those tough cases and thus turning skeptical individuals into your biggest fans.

In this class, I will detail urinary neurotransmitter and salivary cortisol biomarkers to guide treatment and therapy protocols to support your patients "stressed" nervous system. You will:

  • Review the neurochemistry and endocrinology of stress responses and understand the 3 stages of stress responses
  • Understand the literature regarding stress and review 2 reference papers
  • Briefly review test interpretation basic rules (this was covered in detail in Neurotransmitters 101)
  • Clearly interpret 2 case studies to integrate actual cases and clinical outcomes

I know having neurotransmitter and cortisol hormone testing in your practice gives you and your patients an objective measure for realizing their current state of stress responses and can help track and optimize their improvement over time.

I look forward to having you in the class,

Dr. Scott Theirl
