About this course
As COVID-19 shifted how we do our work, the Action Alliance chose to cancel all in-person trainings until it felt safe to share space together again. This, however, did not stop us from quickly adapting to Zoom meetings, gatherings, "site visits," and spaces for technical assistance. When addressing our trainings, we wanted to take a similar approach of adaptability and creativity. So, we asked our amazing Training Institute Faculty to create individual training modules on topics of their choice that our membership and other folks in our field could move through during the summer.
The Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance's Summer 2020 Online Trainings are FREE OF CHARGE and consist of 7 individual lessons created by Action Alliance Training Institute Faculty on topics of their choice. Lessons will be released weekly from the end of July through mid-September 2020. Registering for the course will give you access to all 7 trainings as they are released; there's no need to register for each one. Training topics range from trauma-informed supervision to best practices under new Title IX regulations to the history of Blackness in the field of sexual and intimate partner violence.
Thank you for joining us in this experiment! We look forward to learning with and from you.
