About this course
The Healing and Transcending Racial Trauma online training series is an urgent and timely offering for those wanting to heal and learn how to provide care and support to BIPOC including Bi-racial individuals, couples, church, and ministry leaders, counselors including yourself. Each session will be facilitated by Sheila Wise Rowe, M.Ed, author of Healing Racial Trauma: The Road to Resilience, and Nicholas Rowe, Ph.D. Joining them will be BIack, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, Bi-Racial, and White special guests. They will share lessons learned from decades of engaging in trauma counseling, and ministry. Including experiences of confronting racism, healing from racial trauma, and growing in resilience personally, within the church, and in their communities.
PLEASE NOTE the Healing and Transcending Racial Trauma 4-part online series that will run on November 10th, 17th, 24th, and December 1st, 2020. We will meet online from 7 pm - 8:30 pm. If you cannot make all four sessions you will get a time-limited link after each session to view a replay of the session at your convenience.
