About this course

We are so excited to offer you our first Easter Bunny Sew-a-long. We will be doing a bit of a mystery quilt as we build our blocks separately.  You will start with the first block of a group of four that will go together to create a larger block or our main block. Keep this in mind as you decide which size hoop to use and which project do you want to make. If you are thinking of doing a table runner and you use a 5"x7" block your final block will be a 10"x14" which works great. You can calculate how big your final block will be based on which size hoop you decide to use.  This is going to be another fun project for us to complete before Easter, if not this year then next! LOL. You will have access to all the files and videos here. You can access them anytime so you can make this quilt or table runner any time you like!! Join us for another amazing adventure in 2022!

Decide now if you want to quilt as you go by adding batting during the stitching phase or just stitch on stabilizer and add the batting later. You choose your best and preferred method. The blocks are coming with quilting.

What is so great about this project is that if you do not want to make a quilt these blocks can be easily assembled for a table runner, wall hanging, place mats, bench pillow etc. We will also be doing it together, posting photos here and on FB or Instagram to share our progress. Let's get everyone excited!!

Inside each lesson you will get the files, PDF color instructions, SVG files, videos (if available that week), access to me and more! We will be able to stay connected as a community and share photos and ideas. These will make some wonderful holidays gifts and pillows!

Here are the general fabric requirements needed,  if you are going to pull scraps from your stash then these will change. Its just a guideline.

  • 1/3 yards of background fabric for the 5"x7" bunny blocks, 1/2 yrd for 8"x12" blocks, this will make eight blocks or two full sets (main blocks). These blocks will be assembled on your regular sewing machine.
  • 1 FQ for each egg and back ground corner to make four completed blocks or one complete  main block.
  • FQ for Bunnies in large hoop
  • Other fabrics to be determined.

A new block will be stitch out each week, you will want to create 6 bunnies each week for the first four weeks.

Each block will have quilting so you decide if you want batting in each block or add it at the end of your quilt.

*You are welcome to use your stash and make your bunny blocks from these. Think of Spring and Easter as you choose your fabrics.

I hope you will join us. If you arrive late you will have access to all the previous blocks released.
