About this course
Explore the wild water-y season from Autumn Equinox to Samhain.
This is a time of ripening and harvesting, of closing and ending, as we prepare for the new Celtic / pagan year that begins in the darkness of Samhain. It is a time of duality as we shift from the balance of light and dark marked by the Equinox and begin the shift to shorter days and longer nights. At this time we also embrace the seasonal duality and balance as the energies shift in a dance between waxing and waning, Yin and Yang, divine masculine and divine feminine.
We will explore Fómhar (Irish for Autumn Equinox, pronounced "for-uhr" or "fove-uhr"), its origins and lore in the Celtic world, including its connection to the Spring Equinox. And we will explore the season up to Samhain using the framework of the Celtic cosmology of Land, Sea and Sky — which exists in both the physical and spiritual realms — including practices, rituals, craft, deities, animal allies, and more.
Throughout this self-paced course, you will celebrate and align with the energies of Autumn, your connections with the goddesses of autumn — and their alignment with the Matriarch archetype — and with the realms of Land, Sea and Sky, with ritual, meditations, card layouts, creativity and craft, lore and traditions, earth medicine, reflections, inspirations from song and poetry, plus resources for your practice.
This includes the following and much much more:
Rituals | Creativity & Craft |

Guided Meditations | Card Layouts / Divination |

The realms of Land, Sea and Sky
Land (Talam), Middle World: Land holds the magic of our physical world and its energetic counterpart, our Self and all those who inhabit the Earth such as plants, trees herbs and crystals, animals of all kinds. In Land, we will explore our Autumn correspondences such as Water and West, and our animal allies Stag and Doe.
Sea (Muir), Under World: Sea is our magical connections with the Sídhe (the Faerie realms) and others who reside in this realm including ancestors and other spirits. It is a place for journeys (aka imramma), rituals, exploring deities associated with water and the underworld.
Sky (Nem), Upper World: Sky holds the medicine of the Sun, Moon and Stars; lunar/solar events, divination, sacred crafts of Air, and deities and allies of the Sky realm, and our connection to Spirit. In Sky, we will explore the energies of An Cailleach as she emerges for Winter, the Equinox / Waning Year deity connections such as Inanna, Persephone and Demeter.
This course is now out of the vault, and available all year, so that you can dip into the energy of Autumn whenever it manifests in your locale.
